Came home to the lovely smell of this crockpot paleo mango BBQ chicken… #nom #paleo #chicken #bbq #crockpot #slowcooker #eatclean #livefit

The recipe for this has been requested by a few, and let me just tell you, these days have been busy so I LOVE this recipe because it is so EASY. Love crap I can just toss in and leave to cook while I’m at work or sleeping. I’m not a fan of crockpot recipes that require pre-cooking or baking or roasting. I love tossing stuff in and forgetting about it for hours. Disclaimer, I’m not going to give much regarding portions because I didn’t really measure, I eye balled it. Eye ball wisely.

What you need:

• 3-4 Boneless chicken breasts and/or thighs (you can also use bone-in chicken I’m sure)

• 1 ½ cup Organic Ville Original BBQ Sauce (sweetened with agave)

• ¼ cup no salt chicken broth

• 2 fresh mangoes, cubed

What you do:

This is the order that I did things and has worked wonderfully for me. For one, I use crockpot liners – these are HEAVEN SENT. Helps a ton with clean up and washing afterward….I despise washing…specially because I’m not blessed with a dishwasher. Anywho, put your liner on, then place the chicken in, top it with your cubed mango, add your BBQ Sauce, and then the chicken broth (which to be honest, might work without the broth, I’ll let you know next time I try this recipe without it). Then cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 5-6 hours. I always do the low for 8-10 because it’s always while I’m at work or as I sleep, so the high temp time is speculation, try at your own risk. When it’s done, simply grab two forks and tear it up – my favorite part. The chicken should more than easily come apart super easy.

Delicious and left my apartment smelling divine when I got home from work.
